2017 Award Winners

Keith, Betty & Kyle Vering of Howells and Sharron Ankerson of Colon were awarded the 2017 Friends and Ambassador Award at the Horse Trail Riding Expo on March 10.  Each year the Nebraska Horse Trails Committee honors a person who has worked with our organization and exemplifies what it means to be a friend of the trail.  As a volunteer and active member of the NHTC core group and the groups' secretary, Sharron has spent countless hours clearing trail, planning and working at fund raisers including our Expo's concessions.  Keith, Betty & Kyle have supported our trails by being an integral part of our trail clearing efforts, bring muscle, man power and strength to our committee.
